Our story
SynthetIQ was founded by a team that has already navigated the full arc — from building and scaling a software company to seeing it through an exit, then staying on to run it at scale inside a larger organisation. We know what it looks like from both sides of the table.
That experience — combined with deep technical specialisation in AI, real-time systems, and enterprise operations — informs every design decision in the platform. We are not building what we think enterprises need. We are building what we needed.
The result is a sovereign AI platform designed for organisations that carry real accountability: regulated industries, public institutions, and operators where "trust the cloud" is not an acceptable answer.

Co-Founder & CEOFounder and chief executive. Built a software company from inception through to a successful exit, then took on a senior executive role to operate it at scale within a larger organisation. Deep P&L, M&A, and multi-country operational experience. Brings the full founder-to-operator arc to SynthetIQ.
Ema Marcu
Co-Founder & COOOperations and people leadership built across listed and high-growth technology environments. Experienced in M&A integration, cross-border team building, and the governance requirements of operating within a listed-company structure. Leads the organisational and operational backbone of SynthetIQ.
Doru-Octavian Cioclea
Co-Founder & Solution ArchitectArchitect of mission-critical, real-time distributed systems — with a track record in complex operational domains where data integrity and system availability are non-negotiable. Research background in computer vision. Designs the technical architecture that makes SynthetIQ's sovereign deployment model possible.
Adrian Pop
Co-Founder & CAIOChief AI Officer and hands-on engineer. Two decades building software, now focused on AI transformation strategy and practical agentic system design. Bridges C-level AI governance — including EU AI Act readiness — with direct engineering contribution. Architects the SynthetIQ AI-SDLC and the MasterBrain orchestration layer.
